DataAnnotation is seeking a Finance Expert to evaluate AI-built financial analyses on real corporate scenarios, verify valuation assumptions, and document judgments that teach models how defensible finance work should look.

You will stress-test three-statement models, trace numbers to their drivers, and craft clear analyses you could present to a CFO, all while emphasizing accuracy and consistency in English.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance.
• Fluency with modeling: three-statement builds, DCF, and the accounting behind them.
• Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal.

Job description

Models can build a three-statement model that looks clean and still get the mechanics wrong: a balance sheet that doesn't balance, working capital that flows the wrong way, a circular reference silently zeroed out. Someone has to trace the numbers back through the logic, and that someone is you.

As a Finance Expert you'll evaluate AI-built financial analyses on real corporate scenarios, check the valuation assumptions and the accounting behind them, and write the judgments that teach models what defensible finance work looks like.

Up to $40 – $125+/hr depending on task difficulty and specialization. Many contributors add $10k–$100k+ a year; some make it their full-time income.
