DataAnnotation is seeking a Finance Expert to review AI-built financial analyses, verify valuation assumptions and the accounting behind them, and craft judgments that guide models toward defensible finance work.

You will stress-test three-statement models, ensure correct linkages, and articulate clear, CFO-ready conclusions with precise drivers and transparent reasoning. This remote role rewards expertise in corporate finance, FP&A, and financial modeling.

Models can build a three-statement model that looks clean and still get the mechanics wrong: a balance sheet that doesn't balance, working capital that flows the wrong way, a circular reference silently zeroed out. Someone has to trace the numbers back through the logic, and that someone is you.

As a Finance Expert you'll evaluate AI-built financial analyses on real corporate scenarios, check the valuation assumptions and the accounting behind them, and write the judgments that teach models what defensible finance work looks like.

• Stress-test AI-built models on real corporate scenarios: three-statement linkages, DCF assumptions, and the working-capital logic underneath.
• Trace the reasoning to expose plugged numbers, broken drivers, and conclusions the model's own math doesn't support.
• Write the defensible analysis when the model falls short: honest assumptions, clear drivers, and a number you'd put in front of a CFO.
