Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. is seeking a Billing Coordinator Sr. to support financial pre-clearance and billing activities at the Cherry Hill Surgery Center in Philadelphia.

This role requires knowledge of payor portals, insurance rules for authorizations, and patient billing processes; you will verify insurance, maintain registrations, provide physician estimates, and deliver strong customer service for billing issues while handling billing edits.

Qualifications

Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.

• Verify and authorize insurance for ASC (all physicians and facility)

• Update and maintain patient registrations

• Provide Physician Estimates

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required):
