Job summary

Jefferson Health Plans seeks a senior financial leader to drive strategic planning, budgeting and performance improvement across enterprise financial systems. You will lead evaluations of vendors, oversee integrations and align technology with finance goals to optimize outcomes.

You will partner with senior leadership to monitor performance metrics, support major investments and advance a data-driven decision culture using Workday, Strata, Epic and Qlik.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field required.
• MBA preferred.
• 10 years in finance, accounting, technology and/or healthcare required.
• 10 years in healthcare, technology or finance leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership and decision support for Jefferson Medical Group entities.
• Lead operating budget development, forecasting, capital planning and long-range financial planning.
• Monitor financial and operational performance including revenue cycle metrics and profitability; advise on improvements.

Assures efficiency of deployments, integrations, and functionality within the enterprise. Role will be accountable to support and lead performance improvement projects as assigned.

Assures efficiency of deployments, integrations, and functionality within the enterprise. Role will be accountable to support and lead performance improvement projects as assigned.

Job Duties

• Works with senior leaders to drive strategy
• Works with all sectors of the enterprise to drive performance improvement
• Develops and presents information that leads to efficient outcomes
• Leads assigned integration and optimization projects that connect systems and improve processes
• Perform vendor evaluations and manage vendor relationships

Additional Functions

• Provide strategic financial leadership and decision support for assigned Jefferson Medical Group entities.
• Lead operating budget development, forecasting, capital planning, and long-range financial planning initiatives.
• Monitor financial and operational performance, including revenue cycle metrics, productivity, payer mix, bad debt, and practice profitability, and provide recommendations to improve outcomes.
• Support strategic investments, business development initiatives, and service line growth through financial modeling and analysis.
• Serve as the finance lead for enterprise reporting and decision-support platforms, including Workday, Strata, Epic, and Qlik.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or other related degree required
• Master’s Degree in Business Administration Preferred
• 10 years in Finance, Accounting, Technology and or Healthcare required
• 10 years in Healthcare, Technology or Finance Leadership preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point.
• System integration experience with both general ledger and other integrated systems (payroll, budget, etc.)

Physical Demands

Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
