Midwest Heritage, A Hy-Vee Company, in West Des Moines, seeks a Financial Planning Intern to join the Wealth Management team. You will support client cases, organize financial data, and use planning software while learning the advisory process.

You should be pursuing finance/economics/business admin with a 3.0+ GPA, and be able to work 30-40 hours weekly for at least 10 weeks starting in May.

This internship offers practical experience in client service, data entry, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Junior standing pursuing finance/economics/business admin.
• Relevant coursework required; GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn planning software.

Responsibilities

• Learn firm policies and professional standards in wealth management.
• Enter and review client data in planning software and assist with case analysis.
• Coordinate client tasks and follow-up to keep planning work moving.
• Assist with account/data setup to maintain accurate planning information.
