Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Cash Management/FP&A professional to support the development and execution of cash strategies for the film sector. You will coordinate with business units for planning and forecasts, maintain cash models, and deliver rolling 13-week cash forecasts with variance analysis.

The role requires 2+ years in financial planning, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and exposure to Hyperion or Essbase.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 2+ years of progressive experience in a financial planning environment.
• Robust financial modeling capabilities in Excel.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Hyperion or Essbase preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Entertainment or media industry experience strongly preferred.
• Awareness of financial statements and variance analysis.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of a Cash Management strategy and related processes.
• Support planning activities for Film, coordinating with Business Units for Long Range Plan, annual Budget, forecast updates, and ad hoc analyses.
• Assist with maintaining the company-wide cash planning model.
• Prepare the rolling 13-week cash forecast, including actuals reconciliation and variance analysis.
• Liaise with Accounting and Treasury groups to plan and report actual cash flow weekly.
• Coordinate with Business Units to collect summaries and explanations of actual and forecast results.
• Identify opportunities to streamline data-gathering and forecasting processes.
• Assist in managing risks and opportunities to achieve P&L and cash flow targets.
• Maintain and prepare the physical and Digital Transactional Cash Forecasting Model.
• Assist in preparing ad hoc materials requested by internal management.
