Job summary

Edward Jones in Tempe, AZ seeks an Advising Specialist II to act as a technical SME for Financial Planning and Advice & Guidance. You will collaborate with stakeholders and branch teams to ensure the integrity of A&G across systems and messaging, and you will document requirements and coordinate with digital teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years in financial services, and Series 7/66 within 6 months; CFP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of relevant financial services experience.
• Series 7/66 required within 6 months of hire.
• CFP strongly preferred or start within 6 months of hire.
• Deep SME in at least one of the following areas: investments, financial planning, planning tools.
• Intermediate skills in Systems Thinking, Planning and Organizing, Relationship building, Collaboration, Critical thinking, Problem solving, Project management, and verbal/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with key stakeholders as the Financial Planning capability and A&G SME throughout project life cycles (planning, design, implementation).
• Serve as SME for Training, Service, Enablement and branch teams to ensure integrity of A&G in systems and messaging.
• Document business requirements and partner with digital teams on execution, validation, testing, and user acceptance.
• Coordinate needed expertise from other A&G units for intermediate issues, including production issues and escalations.
• Monitor industry trends, competitors and regulatory changes and assess impact on business, messaging and A&G.
• Achieve results with and through others across multiple teams.
