Job summary

The Mather Group, LLC in Chicago seeks a detail-oriented Financial Planning Associate to support our wealth management team. You will help develop comprehensive financial plans across retirement, tax strategy, estate planning, and investment management, gathering client data and preparing clear materials for meetings.

The role requires hands-on use of Salesforce and MoneyGuidePro/eMoney, collaboration with wealth advisors, and ongoing professional development toward S65 and CFP designations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning, Finance, Consumer Economics, or related field.
S65 license required or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire.
Desire to pursue the CFP designation and familiarity with MoneyGuidePro/eMoney.

Responsibilities

Support wealth advisors to create comprehensive financial plans across retirement, tax, estate, and investment management.
Enter client information into Salesforce and MoneyGuidePro/eMoney ensuring data integrity.
Prepare client presentations and meetings communicating financial plans and recommendations.
Stay updated on industry trends, tax law changes, and investment strategies.
