Job summary

OmniOn Power is seeking an FP&A Manager to join the Plano, TX finance team. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning, partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Accounting to drive performance and strategic decisions.

You will develop financial models, prepare executive reports, and support ERP enhancements and BI tooling while enabling cost control and margin improvements across multi‑site manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years in FP&A, Manufacturing Finance, Operational Finance, or Corporate Finance.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, modeling, variance analysis, and performance management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning.
  • Analyze performance and provide actionable recommendations to management.
  • Prepare executive-level financials for leadership, Board, and investors.
  • Develop models for revenue, gross margin, Opex, capex, and cash flow.
  • Support strategic initiatives with scenario modeling and investment evaluations.
  • Partner with functions to set targets and drive accountability.
  • Distribute monthly management reports and KPI dashboards.
  • Close activities support with accounting team.
  • Analyze manufacturing variances and drive cost reduction opportunities.
  • Monitor KPIs and optimize working capital and inventory.
  • Drive FP&A process improvements and automation initiatives.

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager

Position Overview

OmniOn Power is seeking a highly motivated FP&A Manager to join our Finance team in Plano, Texas. This role will serve as a key business partner to Finance and Operations leadership, supporting financial planning, forecasting, operational performance analysis, and strategic decision‑making across the organization.

This individual will play a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, executive reporting, and business analytics while partnering closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Accounting teams.

This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Finance, FP&A and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead and support the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and long‑range strategic planning processes.
  • Analyze financial and operational performance, identify key trends, risks, opportunities, and business drivers, and provide actionable recommendations to management.
  • Prepare executive‑level financial presentations and reporting packages for senior leadership, Board of Directors, and investors.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models supporting revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, capital expenditures, working capital, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Support strategic initiatives through business case development, scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and investment evaluations.
  • Partner with functional leaders to establish financial targets, monitor performance, and drive accountability.

Financial Reporting & Performance Management

  • Prepare and distribute monthly management reporting packages, including financial statements, KPI dashboards, and variance analyses.
  • Deliver insightful analysis of actual results compared to budget, forecast, and prior‑year performance.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting of key operational and financial metrics to support decision‑making.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities through analysis, reporting, and collaboration with the accounting team.

Operational Finance & Manufacturing Support

  • Analyze manufacturing performance, including labor, material, overhead, and inventory variances, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and margin improvement.
  • Evaluate product, customer, and channel profitability and provide recommendations to optimize financial performance.
  • Monitor manufacturing KPIs and operational metrics to identify trends and improve business outcomes.
  • Assist in inventory management, working capital optimization, and cost control initiatives.

Process Improvement & Systems

  • Drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes, reporting capabilities, and financial controls.
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting and enhance financial transparency through data analytics and business intelligence tools.
  • Support ERP enhancements, system implementations, and reporting tool optimization initiatives.
  • Champion best practices in financial planning, forecasting, and performance management.
Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field required.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Manufacturing Finance, Operational Finance, or Corporate Finance.
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and business performance management.
  • Experience with standard costing, inventory valuation, manufacturing cost accounting, and operational KPI analysis.
  • Proven ability to partner with cross‑functional teams and influence business decisions through financial insights.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
  • Experience preparing executive‑level financial reporting and presentations.
  • Public accounting and/or external audit experience.
  • Experience within electronics manufacturing, power electronics, EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services), PCB assembly, semiconductor, or related industries.
  • Experience supporting multi‑site manufacturing operations.
  • Prior experience in a publicly traded company environment is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and large data set manipulation.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
  • Experience with financial planning and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Oracle, Hyperion, or Tableau.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, GAAP principles, and internal control environments.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and reporting automation tools.

Work Environment

  • Full‑time position based in Plano, Texas.
  • Occasional travel to manufacturing facilities and company locations may be required.
