Alternate Locations: Radnor, PA (Pennsylvania); Fort Wayne, IN (Indiana); Greensboro, NC (North Carolina); Hartford, CT (Connecticut)

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid/Common Days+ : Work 2-3 days a week in a Lincoln office with a designated workspace.

The Role at a Glance

As the Expense & Budget Management Analyst you will provide expense and forecast input for your assigned segment business partner. You will utilize knowledge around lease accounting and property management. Additionally, you will prepare, analyze and report on expense variances to one of our key Segment Business Partners.

What you'll be doing
  • Work directly with our business partners including but not excluded to the Enterprise Services team to provide expense and forecast support including budget, forecast and five year planning
  • Provide guidance on lease accounting
  • Support one of our Segment Business Partners by providing variance explanations on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Contribute to the development of processes and procedures through automation and process improvements.
  • Champions and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management for the expense management team.
  • Serves as a resource to team members and segment business partners on assignments/projects for the expense management business.
  • Evaluates financial information to develop and deliver more complex standard, and ad-hoc financial analysis.
  • Identifies financial analysis issues/concerns and recommends mitigation solution for the expense management area.
  • Collecting, compiling, and evaluating financial information to develop and deliver standard and ad-hoc financial analysis.
  • Communicating to management on recognized trends of issues/concerns.
  • Performing other duties as required.
What we’re looking for

Must-Haves

  • 3-5+ Years experience in expense mgmt. or finance directly aligned to the specific responsibilities for this position.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Technical knowledge of Essbase, Hyperion, Anaplan, Excel, Business Objects
  • Strong problem-solving, process improvement, and critical thinking skills, identifying the appropriate resources and tools to drive solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to adapt the communication of complex items to suit different audiences.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a changing work environment.

The pay range for this position is$69,000 - $124,600with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
