Job summary

Gateway Dealer Network in Piedmont, SC is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to partner with the CFO and drive financial performance across our growing, multi-location organization.

This hands-on role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analytics, including Power BI dashboards and Prophix planning, to deliver actionable insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or related analysis experience.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, modeling, variance analysis, and management reporting skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into practical recommendations.

We value employees who take ownership, embrace continuous improvement, and take pride in delivering results.What You'll DoAs our FP&A Manager, you'll connect financial performance with operational decision-making while helping improve how financial information is analyzed, reported, and used across the organization.Financial Planning & Business AnalysisLead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes.Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.Evaluate branch and department profitability, including equipment margins, parts inventory turns, service efficiency, rental utilization, and inventory aging.Distinguish same-store performance from acquisition-driven growth to provide clearer visibility into business results.Develop scenario analyses to support strategic planning and business decisions.Financial Reporting & Performance ManagementPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive leadership, ownership, and lenders.Perform variance and KPI analysis across revenue, margins, operating expenses, and key business drivers.Conduct financial covenant analyses and prepare cash reporting for the parent company, lenders, and other financial partners.Maintain incentive compensation models and calculations.Maintain the Prophix reporting system to support accurate and reliable financial reporting.Business Intelligence & Process ImprovementDevelop and maintain Power BI dashboards that deliver meaningful insights to business leaders.Identify opportunities to automate reporting, reduce manual processes, and improve efficiency.Partner with IT to define data requirements, strengthen data integrity, and improve reporting capabilities, with FP&A owning financial reporting logic and IT supporting infrastructure.Help transition the organization from static, manually assembled reporting to scalable, automated, and insight-driven financial reporting.What You'll BringRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.At least 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related financial analysis role.Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and management reporting.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Ability to interpret complex financial information and translate findings into practical business recommendations.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with finance, operations, IT, and senior leadership.Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership of key deliverables.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Power BI or comparable business intelligence and dashboard reporting tools.Experience with Prophix financial reporting or planning software.Background in a multi-location, distribution, equipment dealership, rental, or similarly operationally complex business.Experience improving financial processes, automating reporting, or supporting finance transformation initiatives.Why Join Gateway Dealer Network?This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing, operationally complex business.
