Job Summary:

This role reports to the Corporate FP&A Finance Director and has no direct reports. This position works cross-functionally and contributes to the analytical capabilities across the Arkema US organization. Assists the business with overall systems strategy and ensures it aligns with Arkema's vision. Responsible for defining detailed requirements to design and deliver analytics solutions including dashboards, visualizations, and reports. Analyzes potential reporting capabilities to support automated reports that help management understand results and inform actions.

Design, Create & Maintain Power BI applications (50%)

  • Collaborate to design and develop global end-to-end business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, data integration, and report/dashboard creation.
  • Create and maintain data connections and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Power BI.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable insights for regional and global decision-making.
  • Leverage Power Automate to deliver results to key users.
  • Ensure data security and compliance standards are met by implementing appropriate security measures and access controls within Power BI.
  • Optimize performance and usability of reports and dashboards through query tuning and best practices.

Training, knowledge sharing, and collaboration (20%)

  • Train end users on utilizing reporting tools effectively.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders regionally and globally to integrate Power BI with other systems and data sources.
  • Work with all business areas to address and solve business issues.

Learning and research on new technologies (20%)

  • Stay updated with trends in Power BI and related technologies, applying them to enhance BI solutions.
  • Develop a strong understanding of business processes and data across the organization.
  • Learn/master SAP systems and processes to develop reports using SAP data.
  • Leverage external data sources to improve analytics.

Financial Analysis (10%)

  • Perform financial analyses for senior management as part of the FP&A team.

Minimum Qualifications and Education:

  • 1-3 years of experience preferred.
  • Experience in business finance is preferred.
  • BS or BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Data or Computer Science or related field.
  • Certifications in data analytics, BI, or financial systems preferred.
  • Development experience with Power BI (including M and DAX) preferred.
  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • Good understanding of SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Operate with integrity and confidentiality.
  • Proactive problem solver and organizational process improver.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.

HES Requirements:

  • Support site HES policies and participate in HES activities.
  • Promote reporting of health, safety, environmental incidents.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid schedule, minimum 3 days in-office.
  • Work beyond normal hours as needed, including some holidays.
  • Occasional travel <10%.
