Job summary

RBC seeks a Financial Planner to manage and grow a portfolio of mass affluent clients in the West Island region. You provide ongoing comprehensive reviews and build long-term relationships through holistic financial planning and ongoing services.

Base plus variable compensation enables you to shape your future and that of your clients. You will deliver tailored planning, expand your client network, and collaborate with service partners to maximize opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must-have: Financial Planning Designation (IPF)
• Mutual Funds License (IFIC or CSC)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial planning
• Proven networking and client acquisition skills
• Ability to develop a strong referral network
• Bilingualism (English and French) required

Responsibilities

• Provide tailor-made financial planning advice and help clients reach their goals, using investment, credit, and banking solutions
• Actively maintain and expand your portfolio of clients using value-based relationship management, achieving targets
• Cultivate relationships with service partners and local markets to optimize opportunities and referrals
