What Will You Do?

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly skilled individual to join our team as a Financial Planner/ Investment Advisor.

  • Preparing and conducting client meetings.
  • Gathering client data for preparation of financial plan.
  • Support asset management activities, including tracking and monitoring investments -Assist in trading support.
  • Provide financial planning and investment advice to clients
  • Present financial products, concepts and services, including securities and insurance.
  • Collaborate with other team members to expand the client base.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in financial regulations.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with clients.
  • Managing and resolving client issues.
  • Perform mathematical calculations accurately.
  • Ability to build rapport via phone, virtual meetings or in person with clients
  • Professional and polite communication is required.
  • Be able to conform to a changing environment and work at a quick pace, to achieve timely deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Ability to adhere to rules and regulations required by Advisors, State of Tennessee and SEC is required
  • Ability to work scheduled and other needed hours at the designated location(s)
  • Ability to operate office equipment, telephones, and computers
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English, in person, in writing, and on the computer
  • Ability to drive oneself independently for travel between locations
  • Ability to present information to groups in an understandable format or fashion

Experience:

  • 2+ years’ minimum experience in the Financial Planning field needed.
  • Series 65 or similar licensing.
  • ChFC or CFP is a plus.
  • Life & Health Insurance Licence is a plus.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skill level is required.
  • Experience with financial planning tools and software, the ability to learn and adapt to upgrades/changes that occur on a regular basis.

The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, position may be eligible to earn commissions. Hiring Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000 base plus commissions, other compesation package components and benefits. This position will offer a pay plan with great potential for an experienced advisor.
