Job summary

Bank of China USA in New York seeks a finance professional to prepare and analyze daily financial performance reports, assist monthly analyses, and support risk monitoring within FMD operations.

Responsibilities include compiling head office regulatory statistics, maintaining data records, and coordinating annual data quality inspections, with a requirement for a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance and 1–3 years in banking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience in banking and financial services industry is required; 4+ years for AVP level.
• Basic knowledge of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.
• Pertinent company codes and policies; personnel processes; program planning and development; audit procedures; and regulatory policies and laws.
• Understanding of Asset Liability Management, Financial Reporting Models, Regulatory Reporting, and Compliance knowledge of banking industry

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial performance daily reports
• Prepare Major Event Reports and Monthly Business Performance Review.
• Prepare HO monthly expense management report
• Maintain and update the BOC US Branches head office regulatory statistical report policies.
• Prepare the FMD head office regulatory statistical reports in accordance with head office regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate the bank’s head office regulatory statistical reporting process.
• Organize and manage FMD report data and statistical information, ensuring proper preparation and filing.
• Coordinate, collect, review, and submit the head office's “Commitment to Data Quality of Key Offsite Regulatory Indicators.”
• Collect and monitor financial performance indicators from Head Office, present organized information to different departments, initiate effective inter-department communications, and track progresses
• Assist in identifying differences among financial performance evaluations
• Compile HO request
• Account office code maintenance
