Job Description

Inova Health is looking for a dedicated Financial Performance Analyst 2 – Revenue Cycle to join the Team. This remote role will be full-time day-shift working Monday – Friday.

The Financial Performance Analyst 2 – Revenue Cycle works with the Financial Performance Analytics team on routine reports and ad-hoc projects spanning across service lines and divisions. Assists with a broad range of financial and analytical functions, including but not limited to: process improvement and efficiency opportunities, financial performance trend analysis (simple to moderate), data gathering, data validation, report development and testing, reviews processes and maintains data integrity of selected sources and applications.

Financial Performance Analyst 2 – Revenue Cycle Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with operational service line leaders, Finance, Information Technology, Analytics and other departments on routine and ad-hoc projects.
• Generates all routine financial reports and ensures timely and accurate delivery.
• Identifies areas of opportunities and proposing recommendations for improvement and efficiency on routine processes.
• Analyzes simple- to moderate-sized data sources containing financial data, costs, revenue trends, and performance metrics.
• Develops and tests reports and analyses from various sources (e.g. financial ERP, electronic health records, benchmark tools).
• Provides guidance on the interpretation of raw data, statistical results, or otherwise compiled information.
• Reviews processes and projects to ensure proper data definitions are defined and data integrity is upheld throughout all reports and dashboards.
• Works with Data Management & Business Intelligence team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to internal stakeholders and external partners.

Financial Performance Analyst 2 – Revenue Cycle Additional Requirements:

• Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, remote
• Education: Bachelor's degree or 4 additional years of experience in addition to the minimum experience required.
• Experience: 2 years in Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Business, Statistics, related field or equivalent operational experience.

Financial Performance Analyst 2 – Revenue Cycle Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Billing Finance experience preferred.
• Epic Single Billing Office (SBO) experience preferred.
• Experience working with PowerBI, T-SQL, and expert Excel skills preferred.
