Job summary

The Financial Assistant at Northwestern University’s Querrey Simpson Institute for Regenerative Engineering (RENU) in Chicago provides financial, accounting, and administrative support to ensure the department runs smoothly. You will process transactions, monitor budgets, prepare reports, reconcile accounts, and assist with purchasing, travel, and reimbursements.

Working with faculty, staff, vendors, and central offices, you’ll ensure policy compliance while delivering excellent customer service

Qualifications

• Proficiency in spreadsheet, database and word processing software.
• Experience with financial reporting and accounting processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
