Job summary

Kestra Financial is seeking an energetic cashiering team member to process disbursements and deposits, maintain queues in AdvisorComplete and Salesforce, and monitor security paperwork. You will identify anomalies and ensure timely, accurate cash handling while collaborating with advisors and internal staff.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1+ years experience preferred, and strong math, typing, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate required.
• College degree strongly preferred.
• 1+ years equivalent industry related experience strongly preferred.
• Must pass a basic math and written communication test.
• Must perform duties accurately and in a timely manner.
• Must have acute attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Must routinely exercise sound business judgment and be able to work with minimal assistance.
• Must be able to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Typing with accuracy (45+ wpm) and 10-key skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• May be required to work overtime as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all regulatory rules, written desktop procedures and company policies.
• Identify exceptions/anomalies around activities in Cashiering and bring to AML and Management attention immediately.
• Process Cashiering functions, including check disbursements and deposits, Wires, Journals, and EFTs.
• Timely maintenance of AdvisorComplete and Salesforce queues.
• Monitor legal paperwork for securities deposited.
• Monthly blotter reconciliation.
• Generate and review daily reports. Communicate with advisors and staff to resolve issues.
• Take deposits to the bank as needed.
• Work on various projects from management.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
