Responsibilities
  • Assist with the coordination of operational activities within the billing department, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of invoicing
  • Ensure compliance with SOX control objectives and corporate billing policies
  • Identify gaps in processes and contribute to the development of automation for invoicing
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for operational billing questions and assist with external audit fieldwork
  • Recommend changes to systems and processes to enhance workflow and increase efficiency
Requirements (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Business, Finance, and/or Accounting
  • At least three to five years of experience in billing or financial operations
  • Ability to prepare SOX control reporting
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • General knowledge of the employer's products and internal business functions
  • Experience in process improvement projects
  • Good technical knowledge of the accounts receivable function
  • Ability to build strong relationships across functional areas
