Job summary

Pacific Life in Omaha, NE is seeking Financial Operations Associates to support the Consumer Markets Division. You will review, analyze, and process financial and policy transactions for annuity and life insurance products in a regulated setting, pairing operational processing with problem solving and client support.

You may join either the Inforce Processing Team or Advisor Services Team, handling policy changes, licensing, and producer contracting while ensuring regulatory compliance and data

Qualifications

  • 0–2+ years of experience in operations, financial services, insurance, or customer support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfort navigating multiple systems and technology platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process high-volume policy and contract changes, including annuity and life products.
  • Identify incomplete or non-compliant requests and coordinate with clients to obtain requirements.
  • Maintain accurate client records across internal systems.
  • Ensure transactions meet departmental quality, productivity, and service standards.
  • Review licensing, contracts, and approvals for producer operations.
  • Communicate with producers, regulatory agencies, and field offices to obtain required documents.
  • Maintain accuracy across high-volume licensing and contract data.

We’reactively seeking several talentedFinancial Operations Associatesto join the Consumer Markets Division (CMD) at Pacific Life in Omaha, NE.

As a Financial Operations Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting Pacific Life’sannuityandlife insurance businessby reviewing, analyzing, and processing financial and policy-related transactions in a highly regulated environment. This position combines operational processing, problem-solving, and client support to ensureaccurateandtimelyservicing forpolicyholders, contract owners, and financial professionals.

This role may support either ourInforceProcessing TeamorAdvisor Services Team, based on businessneedsand candidate strengths.

How You’ll Make an Impact
Inforce Processing Team

Support post-issue servicing for annuity and life insurance products by:

  • Reviewing and processing policy and contract changes, conversions, reinstatements, exchanges, withdrawals, loans, electronic fund transfers, and registration updates
  • Identifyingincomplete, inaccurate, or non-compliant transaction requests and partnering with clients to resolve outstanding requirements
  • Maintainingaccurateclient records across internal systems
  • Ensuring all transactions meet departmental quality, productivity, and service standards
Advisor Services Team

Support producer licensing and contracting operations by:

  • Reviewing and processing producer contracting applications, appointments, licensing updates, continuing education, and errors & omissions documentation
  • Ensuring documentation meets regulatory requirements, company policies, and service level agreements
  • Communicating with producers, regulatory agencies, legal/compliance teams, and field offices to obtain required documentation and approvals
  • Maintaining accuracy across high-volume licensing and contract data

Compensation By Level

Starting hourly rate based on experience and location. This role may be filled at the Associate or Specialist level.

  • Omaha, NE: Associate: $20 - $22 per hour, plus annual bonus/Specialist: $23 - $26, plus annual bonus
Base Pay Range

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
