Since their founding, they have closed over 200 transactions worth approximately $30 billion in aggregate value. They currently have a team of more than 30 people and generated over $75 million in revenue.

Position Overview: Financial Operations Analyst

We are seeking a Financial Operations Analyst to execute the day-to-day accounting and finance functions in the San Francisco office. This person should be a proactive, self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail and analytical skills. The Financial Operations Analyst will report to the CFO and support our leadership team by maintaining and delivering timely, accurate financial reports to facilitate strategic decision making. This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established, quickly growing, boutique investment banking team and become a meaningful part of a growing in-house accounting and finance team.

Responsibilities

• Work with the accounting and finance teams to oversee and execute day-to-day financial processes including record keeping, expense tracking, invoicing, and accounts payable
• Create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for leadership, lenders and tax accountants
• Analyze and manipulate large sets of data to identify results and key trends
• Develop budgets and long-term financial forecasts
• Create presentations and slides to assist CEO
• Maintain database of key financial statements and investment activities
• Evaluate processes, procedures, and systems to further improve data collection and reporting
• Identify opportunities to drive efficiency and automation in financial processes
• Assist with ad-hoc special projects
• Support various internal operations and compliance as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or other similar programs
• 2-5 years’ experience in a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work collaboratively and independently
• High degree of integrity and respect for confidential/sensitive information
• Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Familiarity with Quickbooks and Concur would be helpful but not required
