The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Financial Operations Analyst to provide professional financial and administrative support for the College of Medicine Finance Office, applying general accounting principles to budgeting, procurement, and reporting.

The Financial Operations Analyst for the College of Medicine Finance Office provides professional financial and administrative support for the unit by performing a broad range of fiscal activities with moderate scope and complexity. The role applies general accounting principles, institutional policies, and departmental procedures to support budgeting, procurement, financial reporting, and operational compliance. Working under general guidance, the analyst prepares financial documentation, analyzes revenue and expenditures, and serves as a liaison with internal service units and external partners to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations. The position contributes to the development and improvement of fiscal processes, assists with audit preparation, maintains financial records in accordance with institutional standards, and collaborates with faculty, staff, and departmental leadership on both routine and non- routine financial matters to support the unit’s operational goals.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2 years of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred. Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
