Job Summary

We are seeking a Financial Officer for a sales-focused role responsible for marketing and promoting all core products, with a focus on deepening wallet share, cross-selling opportunities, and retention. The assigned portfolio will include mid-to-large sized operations with stable relationships with FCSAmerica. The ideal candidate has extensive credit experience, industry expertise, and excels at managing customer relationships. This role requires deep product and credit knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor, building holistic relationships with customers and prospects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Design innovative customer packages, advise on financial information, and competitively price loans based on risk and profitability.
  • Service assigned portfolios and develop business plans to increase market share, promote and sell loan products, cross-sell all organizational products and services, and support an exceptional customer experience based on core principles and teamwork.
  • Focus on marketing and promoting the organization's core products with existing customers, aiming to deepen wallet share and cross-sell opportunities, and ensuring retention.
  • Discuss credit packages with Analysts and participate in consensus decision-making processes when appropriate.
  • Use sound influence and negotiation skills with clients on loan pricing, terms, and conditions. Demonstrate sound credit analysis skills to structure loan packages and proposals appropriately.
  • Consistently apply a holistic selling approach to deepen customer relationships within the assigned segment.
Travel Time
  • Travel will be 50-70% for this role, primarily during daytime meetings with customers outside the office.
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Ag Business, Accounting, Finance, Agricultural Economics, Animal Science, or a closely related field is required.
Years of Experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in lending, credit analysis, and/or sales within a related financial services or agricultural credit organization is required.
