Job summary

Frontier Farm Credit is seeking a Financial Officer for a sales-focused role to market core products to an assigned producer customer segment. You will analyze customers' financial positions, propose innovative product and service options, and meet sales goals while focusing on service and retention.

You will design customer packages, advise on pricing, service portfolios, and engage with customers through calls and in-person visits, contributing to overall market share growth and cross-selling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Experience in lending, credit analysis and/or sales within financial services or agricultural credit organizations is required.
• Ability to discuss credit packages and negotiate terms with Analysts and customers.

Responsibilities

• Design innovative customer packages and advise on financial information; price loans based on risk and profitability.
• Servicing assigned portfolios and developing business plans to increase market share; promote and sell loan products.
• Engage with incoming calls and walk-in customers seeking new credit; participate in consensus decision making when appropriate.
• Provide coaching and counseling to customers; demonstrate influence in loan pricing and terms.
• Maintain knowledge of multiple agricultural industries to aid customers in financial decisions.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Financial Officer for a sales focused role responsible for marketing and promoting all the organizations' core products to an assigned producer customer segment. The right candidate will be highly organized and develop an in-depth understanding of each customer/prospect's current financial position and operational plan to provide innovative and workable product and service alternatives and meet established sales goals. Focusing on service and retention by quickly and effectively completing requests and building holistic relationships with customers and prospects for sales, marketing and promoting of all company's core products.

• You will be asked to design innovative customer packages, advising customers on financial information, and competitively pricing loans based on risk and profitability.
• This role includes servicing assigned portfolios and developing business plans to increase market share, promoting and selling loan products, and cross selling all the company's products and services.
• You may serve as the initial officer to engage with both incoming phone calls and walk in traffic seeking new credit.
• Able to discuss credit packages with Analysts and participate in consensus decision making process when appropriate.
• Must have the ability to provide sound coaching and counseling to customers. Demonstrated influence and negotiation skills (loan pricing, loan terms and conditions), credit analysis skills, and knowledge of multiple agricultural industries to assist customers in financial decisions.

Travel Time

• Travel during the day = 5%-10%

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Ag Business, Accounting, Finance, Agricultural Economics, Animal Science or closely related field required.

Years of Experience

• Experience in l ending, credit analysis and/or sales experience withrelatedfinancial services or agricultural credit organizationrequired.
