Job summary

NAVSUP is seeking a Financial Management Analyst in Virginia Beach to support budgeting and financial analysis within the Navy Exchange Service Command. The role requires applying budgeting concepts, regulations, and federal guidelines to national programs and budgets.

Ideal candidates will possess experience interpreting congressional legislation, and developing or interpreting executive orders and OMB guidance to inform decision making across agency lines.

Summary

You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst of NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND.

Duties

You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst of NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • 1) Mastery of the concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations of budgeting and/or financing and their relation to subordinate and senior levels.
  • 2) Knowledge is sufficient to analyze national level programs; exceptionally large and complete programs; develop, recommend and implement budgetary/financial policies.
  • 3) Employee may interpret, assess and project potential impact of new/revised Congressional legislation.
  • 4) Develops and renders authoritative interpretations of executive orders, 0MB guidance within and across agency lines and Departmental guidance.
