Job description

We are hiring a Financial Literacy Teacher (Remote) who can simplify financial concepts like saving, spending, budgeting, and goal-setting for children. You'll be responsible for delivering fun, interactive lessons online that make money management exciting and age-appropriate.


Work Mode:- Remote

Department: Curious Junior (Grades 3 to 8)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging online classes on financial literacy for students in grades 3 to 8.
  • Teach core concepts such as saving, budgeting, needs vs. wants, digital payments, and basic money management.
  • Use storytelling, games, visual aids, and activities to engage young learners.
  • Encourage curiosity and life-skills development in students through practical learning approaches.
  • Track student participation and performance; provide feedback to parents and the academic team.
  • Collaborate with curriculum designers and content creators for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Education, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Prior experience teaching or training children aged 8 to 16 years.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (and optionally, other regional languages).
  • Comfortable conducting interactive online classes using platforms like Zoom or Google Meet.
  • Creative and child-centric approach to teaching finance.
  • Passionate about financial education and youth development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with online teaching or EdTech platforms.
  • Certification in personal finance education or pedagogy (preferred, not mandatory).
  • Familiarity with school-level curricula (CBSE/ICSE/IB or similar).
