Position Overview

The Financial Integrated Application Analyst supports OCHIN’s mission by configuring front desk and revenue cycle applications within the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system for our member clinics. This role involves consulting with members and internal teams to develop solutions that ensure accurate, secure, and efficient workflows, focusing on delivering quality financial outcomes.

Essential Duties
  • Monitor project progress and resolve issues; publish reports; recommend actions.
  • Prepare technical reports by analyzing and summarizing data; conduct ad hoc analyses of operational issues.
  • Participate in the implementation of Epic G/L systems.
  • Manage multiple Epic-related implementation projects.
  • Research and configure new payor/plan financial mappings.
  • Complete Prelude GL configuration and build processes.
  • Update Bridges tables and Interface X12 Message Processor configurations.
  • Configure batch jobs for payor and self-pay queries.
  • Create and update rules, extensions, and action lists for various workflows.
  • Document build specifications, team processes, and workflows.
  • Perform quality assurance on standard builds and updates.
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve integration issues.
  • Meet with front desk and billing leads to review financial processes for new installations.
  • Participate in weekly financial analyst calls to track and document updates.
  • Resolve GL issues during and after Go-Live.
  • Develop and share workflow best practices.
  • Build, test, and document new GL features.
  • Support clinic staff during Go-Lives and rehearsals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
