Job summary

Warner Norcross + Judd LLP is seeking a senior Financial Institutions M&A/Securities Attorney to join its Finance Group. The attorney will advise banks and financial institutions on complex corporate transactions, serve as a trusted advisor, and help lead the ongoing growth of the Finance practice across the firm.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in relevant corporate matters, including M&A, securities regulation, governance, and SEC reporting, and will collaborate with lawyers

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission in good standing to at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 10+ years of experience representing banks, financial institutions, or public and private companies in sophisticated corporate transactions.
• Significant experience with financial institution M&A, securities offerings and regulation ('33 Act and '34 Act), SEC reporting, corporate governance, and general corporate matters.
• Experience advising boards of directors, executive leadership, and management teams on strategic and governance matters.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions, build lasting client relationships, and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Excellent communication, responsiveness, and client service skills.

About the Position

We have a strong foundation of talented attorneys serving banks and other financial institutions and are looking to add a senior-level attorney who will contribute to the continued growth of our practice while advising clients on their most significant corporate and strategic matters.
