Guidehouse is seeking financial management professionals to support a DoD client, leveraging extensive experience across accounting, audit, internal controls, and financial policy. Strong GAAP, GAGAS, ICOFR knowledge and DoD policy understanding are essential.

The role requires an active SECRET clearance, a related degree or certifications, and 6+ years of experience with 2+ years in DoW financial management or audit remediation. Strong analytic and collaboration skills are valued.

• Active and maintained SECRET security clearance required, adjudicated prior to onboarding.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Data Science; or equivalent certifications listed in the ad.
• 6+ years total experience; 2+ years supporting a Department of War financial management, internal control, or audit remediation projects.

What You Will Do

Guidehouse is currently seeking financial management professionals in support of our Department of Defense client. These teammates will bring a vast range of experiences across financial management, accounting, audit, internal controls, and financial policy. Our Guidehouse team will provide:

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR), DoD financial management policies and procedures and DoD organizational structures
• Financial audit statements and audit readiness services
• Understanding of Office of Management and Budget (OMB) policies and federal financial management systems
• Understanding of DoD acquisition, inventory, property and material management

What You Will Need

• An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED \"SECRET\" Federal or DoD security clearance; candidates must have approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business Management/Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Data Science; OR one of the following active and current certifications issued by appropriate licensing authority may be used in lieu of listed degree field: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM)
• Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
• SIX (6) or more years total experience; 2 or more years supporting a Department of War (DoW) financial management, internal control, audit remediation projects. Experience should include accounting, audit, budget, finance, internal controls, as well as other financial skillsets.

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or Business Management/Administration
• Experience in Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB) Statement of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS) 6 (Property, Plant and Equipment), 10 (Internal Use Software), 50 (Establishing Opening Balances for Property, Plant and Equipment) and/or 54 (Leases)
• Experience in OMB Circular A-123 and/or A-136
• Federal Financial Management or Federal Accounting experience supporting the Department(s) of the Air Force, Army, and/or Navy.
• Currently possess one or more of the following certifications:
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• Program Management Professional (PMP)
• Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM)
• Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM)

The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
