Job description

Big Watt Digital LLC Financial & Executive Operations Coordinator Austin, TX·Full time

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Financial & Executive Operations Coordinator to serve as an executive force multiplier and operational conduit across leadership scheduling, data maintenance, and workflow coordination. This role is designed for a detail-oriented professional who can seamlessly balance executive administrative support with data-driven financial coordination. Rather than building complex financial structures from scratch, you will take leadership-provided inputs, parameters, and assumptions to populate, run, and update existing financial models across our project portfolio. Concurrently, you will manage executive workflows, calendar scheduling, board presentation formatting, and operational playbook documentation.

Big Watt Digital is a mission-critical infrastructure platform developing and operating next-generation, high-density data center campuses built for the demands of AI and advanced digital workloads. Our model brings together large-scale power, digital infrastructure, development execution, and operational discipline to deliver speed, certainty, and scalability.
WHY BIG WATT DIGITAL: We are building at the intersection of energy, data centers, AI infrastructure, and large-scale development—where execution matters.

Description

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

  • Financial Model Maintenance & Data Execution: Update, run, and maintain pre-existing Excel financial models, proformas, and scenario analyses using data, assumptions, and guidance provided by executive leadership.
  • Executive Administration & Orchestration: Manage executive calendars, coordinate internal and external meeting cadences, organize high-stakes partner logistics, and track cross-functional action items to completion.
  • Slide Decks & IC Presentation Support: Format, polish, and synthesize financial inputs, project updates, and operational graphics into clean, executive-ready Investment Committee (IC) decks, board presentations, and vendor packages.
  • Operational Playbook & Process Support: Support Operations Executives to document, clean up, and organize standardized operational playbooks, SOP governance templates, and site development checklists based on provided frameworks.
  • Portfolio Analytics & Tracking: Maintain portfolio metrics, track capital project variance against provided baselines, and assist in generating routine monthly reporting summaries and dashboards.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • First 90 days: Master the organization’s existing financial model templates, successfully take full ownership of executive leadership scheduling, and establish a weekly action-item tracking process.
  • First 6 months: Streamline data updates across active project models, assist with baseline operational playbook documentation, and independently format polished presentation packages for executive review.
  • First 12 months: Serve as the primary operational link between leadership, site updates, and routine financial reporting, keeping administrative workflows running seamlessly across new campus acquisitions.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 1–3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, business operations, project coordination, or high-level executive assistance within infrastructure, real estate, energy, or technology environments.
  • Strong Excel Financial Proficiency: Comfortable populating formulas, updating scenario inputs, organizing dataset tabs, running pre-built financial models, and tracking CapEx/OpEx variances.
  • Proven Experience in Process & Deck Building: Capability to turn raw financial numbers, technical updates, and rough drafts into structured enterprise playbooks and visually clean PowerPoint presentations.
  • Exceptional Organizational Acumen & EA Polish: Proven track record of managing competing executive priorities, meeting cadences, inbox prioritization, vendor coordination, and confidential workflows.
  • Strong Technical Interest & Autonomy: Ability to navigate mission-critical infrastructure dynamics, move with urgency, and communicate concisely with C-suite executives and external partners.

EDUCATION & CREDENTIALS

B.S. or B.A. in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Communications, or related field. Prior experience supporting executive leadership while managing financial or operational data in high-growth environments preferred.
