Job summary

YWCA is seeking a Financial Empowerment Services Coordinator to oversee CCAP staff, ensure contract compliance, and manage referrals.

You will recruit, hire and train staff, develop program policies, and coordinate with DHS, ISBE, IDHS, DCFS and community partners.

The role supports childcare providers and families, with occasional evening/weekend hours; associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in social services or early childhood programs.
• One year of supervisory experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and Windows.
• Able to input data accurately and timely; knowledge of local resources.
• Available to work some evenings and weekends.
• Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily work of CCAP staff to ensure contract compliance.
• Review referrals for possible fraud and determine overpayments.
• Recruit, hire and train staff; assist in policy development.
• Coordinate with DHS, ISBE, IDHS, DCFS and community partners.
• Support childcare providers and families in program services.
• Coordinate recruitment and marketing strategies for program growth.
• Supervise staff to improve productivity and service delivery.
