We believe access to this education is critical for overcoming systemic economic barriers and creating generational wealth. Through our programming, we aim to make students more employable and help them build solid financial foundations.
Position Overview:
The Financial Empowerment Education Specialist will support the implementation of financial education programs across Philadelphia public schools. As our organization grows, this specialist will add vital capacity to enhance our programs’ impact. This part-time role (10-15 hours per week) is designed for a passionate and experienced educator with strong ties to the Philadelphia public school community. The role requires the ability to support both teachers and students in personal finance education, entrepreneurship, and investment programs, as well as lead adult financial empowerment workshops. The role will also support implementation of a high-quality summer career exploration program for high school students. The Financial Empowerment Education Specialist reports to the Program Director and works closely with the entire PFS Team.
Part-Time: 10-15 hours per week (up to 25 maximum, as mutually agreed upon)
