Job summary

Greycell Labs Inc in New York, NY is seeking an On-Site Financial Data Governance Analyst to build data workflows, validate financial data, and enforce data quality. The role requires deep experience in data governance, data warehousing, and dashboarding across financial reporting teams.

You will automate reporting, query large datasets, liaise with data vendors and internal tech teams, and translate business requirements into precise technical specifications. This is an on-site role in New York.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data governance, data warehousing, or data quality for financial reporting.
• 7+ years of SQL and Oracle experience with data querying and issue resolution.
• 7+ years of analytics and visualization using Tableau/Power BI/BO.
• Experience automating data tasks with SAS/Python/R or Excel VBA.
• Experience liaising with vendors and internal teams to support data strategy.
• Experience with data catalog platforms (Informatica/Collibra/Alation) and data lineage.
• Experience documenting requirements and data processes to drive adoption.
• 3 years in cloud data platforms (Snowflake or Azure).
• Educational: Bachelor's Degree.

Job Description

• 84 Months experience in Data warehousing, profiling, governance,modeling or data quality assurance for Financial Reporting
• 84 Months of Experience in SQL, Oracle and other Database Management Systems, including querying. Provide example(s) of independently problem solving and support to internal data stakeholders that resolved data issues in real time.
• 84 Months of Experience with data visualization, dashboarding, using tools like Tableau, Business Objects, Power BI.
• 84 Months of Experience in automating data tasks like ingestion, mapping, reporting, testing, validation, analysis, using programming languages such as SAS, Python, R, or Excel VBA.
• 84 Months of Experience in providing governance, and technical support. Liaise with data vendors/solution providers, internal stakeholders, other technology teams (Data Architecture, Project Management team) to support data strategy and initiatives. Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• 84 Months of Experience with Data Cataloging Platforms (e.g., Informatica, Collibra, Alation) to execute data profiling, data quality, data mapping and manage lineage.
• 84 Months of experience in writing documentation to capture requirements and logic, and encourage adoption of data catalog, data quality and data management processes and other data related initiatives (i.e., data platform/integration solutions).
• 36 Months of Experience in cloud based data platforms, like Snowflake or Azure
