Job Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming telephone inquiries regarding retirement plans from participants, employers, and third-party specialists
  • Provide excellent service to customers regarding their retirement savings accounts
  • Educate and empower customers without making cold calls or sales
  • Communicate critical updates and changes to retirement plans
  • Process contribution changes, loans, withdrawals, and general account changes as directed by customers
Qualifications
  • Availability to work a 40-hour work week, including outside traditional business hours and occasional Saturdays
  • Associate degree or higher AND at least one year of customer service experience, or two or more years of customer service experience
  • Strong communication skills and a desire to engage with customers over the phone
  • Attention to detail and ability to learn financial industry policies and procedures
  • Capability to adapt communication style to serve a diverse customer base
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish
  • Previous experience in financial services or a call center environment
  • A passion for providing high-quality customer service
  • Ability to engage effectively with customers over the phone
  • Experience in adapting communication styles for diverse audiences
