Job summary

Associated Bank seeks a Financial Intelligence Analyst to identify and investigate potentially suspicious activity across customer accounts and relationships. You will analyze transactional data, support regulatory compliance, and help protect the bank by identifying financial crime risks.

The role involves preparing detailed case documentation, reporting SARs when needed, and contributing to research, risk mitigation, and metrics.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
• CAMS and/or CFE certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, investigate, and document suspicious activity across customer accounts and relationships.
• Analyze transactional and customer data to detect irregular activity and financial crime risks.
• Prepare detailed case documentation and narratives in a case management system.
• Assist with regulatory reporting, including SARs when necessary.
• Monitor compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and investigative procedures.

Education

Associate’s degree in Risk, Compliance, Audit, Banking, Business, Law Enforcement, or related field

CAMS certification

CFE certification
