Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a collections professional to manage payment processes for patient accounts during pre-admission and inpatient care.

You will cooperate with Admitting and the Business Office, coordinating communication with patients and families while a patient is hospitalized. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 1 year in collections, strong math and typing skills, and familiarity with medical terminology.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1 year collection experience
• Associates Degree in Business or related field
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology
• Must be able to type a minimum of 30 wpm
• Preferred: BS Degree in Business
• Preferred: Two years' experience in collections
• Preferred: CPAR Certification
• Preferred: CFC Certification
