Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an Insurance and Financial Counseling Specialist to assist organ transplant candidates, donors and recipients with understanding financial responsibilities and insurance options. This role coordinates with facilities across the southeast region.

Responsibilities include counseling patients on insurance benefits, billing workflows, and coordinating with hospital departments to optimize financial clearance for transplantation.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field required.
• In lieu of degree, 3 years of experience in hospital admissions, hospital business office or health insurance will be accepted.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3 years experience in hospital admissions, hospital business office or health insurance required.
• In lieu of degree a total of six (6) years of work experience required.
