A leading healthcare institution is seeking a Financial Coordinator to support patients in the OMFS department. This role requires conducting financial evaluations, assisting with billing and insurance processes, and ensuring comprehensive coverage for patients. Job Details
The Financial Coordinator works with patients and their families compassionately and tactfully, prior to, during and following OMFS Services to allow for the continuity of care. The OMFS financial coordinator is responsible for being up to date on all Medicare cost reporting rules and regulations. The OMFS financial coordinator conducts financial evaluations with patients being seen by Oral Surgeon team to determine transplantation appropriateness. Works with the OMFS billing colleagues and Practice Manager and other Jefferson billing colleagues to rectify billing and insurance errors. Ensures assigned Epic work queues are appropriately managed and reviewed in a timely manner.Job Description
