Job summary

Job Juncture seeks a Financial Controller for a 40-person, on-site manufacturing business in the Greater Philadelphia area. You will build the finance function from the ground up under PE ownership, reporting directly to the CEO with no CFO above you.

You will own the books, close process, KPIs, cost accounting, and all audit/tax coordination, with a clear path from Controller to CFO as the company scales; stock options are part of equity participation.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar discipline with at least 10 years of relevant experience
• Accounting certification preferred (CPA or CMA)
• Cost accounting depth in manufacturing (food & beverage) and production variances
• Experience closing books and owning full monthly/quarterly reporting cycle
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance principles and accounting laws
• Sage ERP experience is a plus (older version in use)
• Strong organizational skills and deadline-driven
• Excellent communication across all levels of the organization
• Comfortable with PE-level reporting discipline and pace
• On-site role based in Greater Philadelphia; local candidates preferred; no relocation

Responsibilities

• Stand up the finance function: close process, reporting cadence, KPIs, cost accounting structure
• Drive financial planning and risk analysis for the company
• Manage monthly close, weekly ownership flash reports, and board MD&A packages
• Coordinate covenant compliance reporting and budgeting processes
• Oversee AR, AP, payroll; manage internal controls and audits
• Lead tax coordination with outside counsel and annual audits
• Oversee finance systems and potential Sage ERP upgrade
• Support IT and HR processes related to finance operations
