Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources, LLC is seeking a Financial Controller to join the Equity Finance Group. The role supports a portfolio of tax equity financings, CEPF, JV and other structured equity financings by delivering financial information, analyses and insights to management, investors and stakeholders.

You will develop/maintain tax equity models, support financing scenarios, and collaborate with treasury, accounting, and project finance teams to record, report and forecast financing activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance/Business.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Master's in Accounting/Finance preferred.
• CPA certification preferred.
• CFA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and analyzes monthly forecasts, including evaluation of assumptions.
• Prepares timely internal and external operating reports per financing/partnership agreements.
• Develops and maintains complex financial models for financings and partnerships.
• Provides high-quality analytics and variance commentary on actual and forecasted financial information.
• Prepares ad hoc analyses, reports and scenario/impact analyses for transactions.
• Prepares presentations for third-party lenders/investors.
• Participates in Six Sigma projects and software implementations.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
