Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources, LLC is seeking a Financial Controller I to join our Equity Finance Group. The role supports tax equity financings, CEPF, JV and other structured financings by delivering financial information and analyses to management, investors and internal stakeholders.

You will develop/maintain complex financial models, perform scenario analyses, and prepare reporting for investors, while collaborating with treasury and accounting to ensure accurate forecasting and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business.
• Experience: 2+ years in finance or accounting.
• Master's degree preferred in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional designations CPA and CFA are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Treasury and cross-functional groups to structure tax equity financings.
• Develop/maintain tax equity models – investor IRR tracking and accounting/forecast models.
• Support ad-hoc analyses and scenario studies for management and investors.
• Perform portfolio financing reviews to aid strategic decisions.
• Prepare and review cash contributions and distributions reporting to investors.
• Work with accounting/forecasting teams to record, report and forecast financing activity.
• Support tax department on partnership tax returns and Six Sigma process improvements.
