The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent corporate financial strategy through a range of avenues such as managing and allocating accounts, financial statements, and tax data. The candidate will also be the point of contact for banks, auditors, and tax authorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day company accounts, month-end close process and GL account reconciliations
• Prepare year end schedules for auditors
• Maintain accounting systems and control procedures for the company's accounts, cash figures, and related matters
• Intercompany bookings
• Assist with financial planning
• Revenue recognition
• Financial reporting and financial statement preparation
• Bank reconciliations and credit card management
• Ensure government compliance in all tasks
• Work with external accounting firm as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of experience in the area
• CPA is required
• Experience in Oil & Gas industry is preferred
• Proficiency with financial reporting software packages
• Understanding of US GAAP and regulatory compliance
