Longstanding distributor that has been in business for close to 100 years is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller with Inventory Accounting experience.

The Controller will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial management while supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
• Prepare and analyze timely and accurate financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with tax requirements and other regulatory standards.
• Oversee cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Provide actionable insights and financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
• Inventory accounting experience is required
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Base pay range: $100,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr
