Finance plays a central role in driving performance and value, with the CFO actively leading financial strategy, operational decision-making, and alignment with public company governance, group reporting and audit expectations.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly driven, hands-on Financial Controller to build and lead a best-in-class accounting function in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

This role is a critical partner to the CFO and operating leadership, responsible for delivering accurate, decision-ready financial; strengthening close, controls and reporting; and establishing the finance infrastructure needed to scale globally. The Controller will operate at the intersection of corporate leadership and international manufacturing operations, ensuring strong financial discipline while enabling speed and execution.

This is an execution-focused leadership role for someone who thrives in a high-performance environment, balancing urgency, accountability, and compliance within a publicly traded framework. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves in the detail as they are building scalable, forward-looking systems.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Performance Support

  • Own the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of management accounts, statutory inputs and group reporting across all global entities
  • Lead monthly and annual close processes with a focus on speed, rigor, and transparency and clear evidence of review
  • Deliver clear, actionable financial insights to support CFO-led decision-making
  • Ensure alignment with IFRS group reporting requirements, local statutory requirements and group governance, reporting-calendar and audit expectations

Manufacturing Finance & Margin Optimization

  • Lead standard costing, inventory valuation, and production variance analysis across international operations
  • Partner directly with operations and plant leadership to identify cost drivers and improve margins
  • Drive visibility into manufacturing performance and implement scalable cost control processes
  • Support operational initiatives that enhance productivity, efficiency, and profitability

Hands-On Accounting Execution

  • Remain deeply involved in core accounting processes, including:
    • Complex reconciliations
    • Multi-currency cash management
    • Intercompany accounting and eliminations
  • Establish rigor and accountability in day-to-day financial operations
  • Continuously improve close timelines, reporting quality, and operational efficiency

Controls, Compliance & Audit Readiness

  • Build and maintain a robust internal control environment aligned with public company standards
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable international regulatory requirements
  • Lead audit processes and maintain readiness for internal and external audit scrutiny
  • Coordinate tax compliance, including cross-border considerations and transfer pricing
  • Act as the primary financial partner for international operations
  • Align reporting, processes, and expectations across regions
  • Navigate cross-border complexities including tax, compliance, and operational differences
  • Drive consistency and accountability across a globally distributed finance function
  • Work with leaders to build, lead, and scale a high-performing accounting team
  • Establish clear ownership, accountability, and performance expectations
  • Work with leaders to recruit, develop, and retain talent in line with organizational growth
  • Foster a culture of ownership, discipline, and continuous improvement
