Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to oversee daily accounting operations in a manufacturing environment in Fresno, CA. This role focuses on General Ledger, AP, AR, payroll and inventory control, with emphasis on accurate reporting.

You will manage month-end close, improve internal controls, support budgeting, forecasting and audits, and lead the accounting team while partnering with operations and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, payroll, and inventory accounting.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented approach with strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, and payroll.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate account reconciliations and general ledger activity.
• Oversee inventory accounting, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
• Monitor internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, and other financial analysis as needed.

Financial Controller

We are seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to oversee the company’s day-to-day accounting operations within a manufacturing environment. This role will have a strong focus on General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, and inventory control, while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, and payroll.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes and financial reporting.
