This position is part of the Branch Network, primarily responsible for providing Wealth Management to individuals and families to meet their financial needs. In partnership with the Sr. Financial Consultant (FC), the Financial Consultant Partner will support the growth and management of an affluent wealth management practice. This includes servicing clients, growing client relationships, and delivering advice with the practice clients of the Sr. Financial Consultant. The Financial Consultant Partner will help grow the practice by partnering with their Sr. FC to pursue business development opportunities.

As a Financial Consultant Partner (FCP), you will act as a trusted partner to our Sr. Financial Consultants and their practice clients. You will deepen client relationships, uncover business development opportunities, and learn from your Sr. FC. You’ll support the growth and management of an affluent wealth management practice, providing exceptional service, advice, and relationship management. If you are a licensed financial professional passionate about wealth management and eager to grow under the mentorship of a seasoned advisor, this role is for you.

Required Qualifications:
  • A valid and active Series 7 license (may be obtained under a condition of employment through Branch Network Licensing Program)
  • A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license (may be obtained under a condition of employment)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of Financial Services Industry Experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to identify new relationship development opportunities
  • Openness to build, refresh, and deliver financial plans for practice clients in partnership with Sr. Financial Consultants
  • Ability to uncover and meet client needs and manage client expectations
  • Ability to build and maintain strong cross-enterprise relationships
  • Capability to become a Notary
  • Experience updating and managing client information through Schwab’s CRM tool
  • Openness to managing local events as needed
