Job summary

Apple Bank’s Wealth Management division seeks a motivated Financial Consultant to grow sales of non-deposit investment products within a banking environment on Long Island. You will work with branch staff and clients to meet production objectives and deliver excellent service.

The role requires 2+ years of sales experience in finance, NYS Life/Health license, and FINRA licenses. Strong time management and communication skills are essential for success in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience as a financial consultant.
• NYS Life, Accident & Health license; FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65/66.
• Excellent time management and communication skills; independent work.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or surpass established sales targets.
• Lead branch sales meetings and motivational sessions.
• Execute outbound calls and appointment scheduling for sales.

Salary Range: $72,000 - $96,000

The Financial Consultant is tasked with the sale of non-deposit investment products within a banking environment for ABS Associates of New York, Inc., the wealth management division of Apple Bank. The ideal candidate will consistently achieve monthly and ongoing production objectives. This role requires a highly motivated individual who demonstrates strong sales and service orientation, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with both branch personnel and bank clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Achieve or surpass established sales targets.
• Lead branch sales meetings, briefings, and motivational sessions.
• Execute continuous and consistent sales-generating activities, including outbound calls and appointment scheduling.
• Provide training programs for all branch employees.
• Engage daily with prospective clients.
• Uphold exemplary customer service standards, with the ability to explain investment concepts clearly and concisely to potential clients.
• Participate in ongoing sales and product training sessions.
• Maintain effective working relationships with branch personnel.
• Hold weekly meetings with Branch Managers across the assigned territory.
• Fulfil additional responsibilities as required.

SKILLS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience as a financial consultant.
• Banking experience preferred.
• Must possess current NYS Life, Accident & Health license,
• FINRA Series 7, 63, and series 65 or 66 required.
• Excellent time management and communication skills required.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
