Job description

Advanced Resource Technologies, Inc. (ARTI)is currently recruiting a Financial Compliance Analystto support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Energy (ARPA-E). This position is full-time, exempt. Start date is immediate upon selection and public trust clearance processing as required.

Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze performer-submitted invoices, and perform in-depth financial analysis of federal, cost share, and category amounts, including verifying invoice costs against Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) cost regulations.
  • Interface with programmatic Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) staff daily to resolve any outstanding invoice issues and assist the programmatic SETAs with any specific financial questions.
  • Draft monthly invoice status reports to assist with the task lead with gauging invoice backlog and approval status.
  • Assist with supporting any ad-hoc financial tasks, including reconciling performer invoices, accounts, or program outlays.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in financial or billing analysis.
  • Possession of excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Knowledge of financial or compliance auditing
  • Knowledge of OMB or FAR cost regulations
  • Experience with U.S. government or R&D health organizations.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all team members.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite- PowerPoint, Project, Excel, and Word.
