This position is responsible for verifying patient insurance, confirming benefits eligibility, performing authorization and pre-certification, calculating and estimating patient liability, and/or notification as required by third-party coverage providers. The purpose of this job is to verify that TriHealth patient insurance information is accurate and up-to-date to ensure payment for services rendered. Additionally, this position requires reviewing medical records to obtain information such as diagnosis, prior treatment, signs and symptoms, medication, and other medical details to submit authorization requests for surgery, testing, or treatment.
This is a Cincinnati-based work-from-home role. Applicants must be located in the Greater Cincinnati area to be considered.
