The Financial Center Manager I will be responsible for achieving specified banking center and staff performance goals, profitability, deposit and loan growth, and fee income. The FCM will build, develop, and lead a team focused on providing clients with an exceptional experience by presenting financial solutions to meet their needs. By focusing on the client, doing the right thing, and striving to make a difference, the team will build long-lasting relationships. The FCM is accountable for driving new client acquisition, retention, and growth of core consumer and small business relationships, as well as increasing non-interest revenue. Additionally, the FCM will foster internal partnerships within FFB to meet client needs and contribute to the growth of their market. The role includes creating a team-oriented environment, supporting associate satisfaction through coaching and career development, and building community alliances. The FCM may also mentor new associates and must ensure compliance with all regulatory procedures.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities
  1. Model the way for peers and coworkers aligned with First Financial’s Mission and Values.
  2. Maintain a banking center environment committed to an exceptional client experience.
  3. Ensure performance goals are met or exceeded, supporting district and regional objectives.
  4. Foster an inclusive, team-oriented environment, leading communication and collaboration.
  5. Develop and lead a knowledgeable team in bank products, policies, and procedures.
  6. Manage daily operations, audit scores, and sales execution.
  7. Open deposit accounts, accept loan applications, and assist with account growth.
  8. Manage onboarding and follow-up with clients.
  9. Oversee financial center sales and performance, understanding its impact on the district and company.
  10. Engage in coaching, recognition, and progress updates.
  11. Develop strong business relationships with key partners and community groups.
  12. Ensure delivery of the First Financial Bank Experience in daily activities.
  13. Lead daily huddles and team meetings.
  14. Participate in hiring and onboarding new associates.
  15. Develop associates through coaching and joint sales calls.
  16. Maintain operational and risk management standards.
  17. Support communication and initiatives within the district and region.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • 1-2 years of coaching/mentoring experience in retail.
  • 1-2 years of sales and service success in retail banking.
  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of related experience or training.
Physical and Other Requirements
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and driving.
Compliance and Development

The associate must meet all compliance requirements imposed by law, regulation, and bank policies, including BSA, AML, and others.
